Structure and Recital
The 2025-2026 School Year is divided into two phases.
Phase One: (August-December) Classes focus on age and level appropriate exercises to develop solid technique habits, improve strength and flexibility, achieve proper posture for balance, and work on memorization skills.
*Pre-Ballet classes will also prepare for an informal showing in December for family and friends*

Phase Two: (January-May) Students continue practicing technique while learning choreography for the Spring Recital. The theme for 2026 Spring Recital is Swan Lake. Information about recital and costume fees, venue, possible additional rehearsals, and all other details will be communicated starting in February. Students are not required to participate in the recital.

Ballet I (Ages 6-9)
Mondays, 5:00-6:00pm
An introduction to the traditional classical ballet class. Students begin with barre work to warm up their bodies, focus their minds, and learn ballet technique basics. The class then moves onto center work and traveling steps, focusing on technique and vocabulary presented at the barre.

Ballet II (Ages 10-17)
Mondays, 6:00-7:30pm
Homeschool Ballet (Ages 8-17)
Thursdays, 9:15-10:45am
A traditional classical ballet technique class consisting of barre work, center work, and traveling steps. Students are encouraged to move beyond technique structures and practice the art of performing. Regular attendance is imperative for this skill level.
Contemporary Ballet (Ages 9-17)
Tuesdays, 6:00-7:00pm
A fusion of ballet technique and modern dance elements. This style allows the dancer to let loose and perform with emotion, often with lyrical-like fluidity. Students will learn how to incorporate ballet technique with a wide array of bodily movements and styles. Regular attendance is imperative for this class.

Teen/Adult Ballet (Ages 13+)
Saturdays, 9:15-10:15am
A relaxed environment for exercise while improving flexibility, strength, and memory. Students will participate in a traditional ballet class practicing technique and learning new steps and combinations. This class is about trying new things and challenging ourselves while having fun, not perfection.
