Ballet Classes
Jennings County Ballet LLC is dedicated to providing traditional ballet classes for children and adults.
Our mission is to teach proper ballet technique, vocabulary, and performance skills in a compassionate and supportive setting. Whether you are a beginner or experienced dancer, our classes offer an engaging way to build confidence, strength, and artistry.

Beginning Ballet (Ages 6+)
SUMMER 2025
Mondays, 6:00-7:00pm
An introduction to the traditional classical ballet class. Students begin with barre work to warm up their bodies, focus their minds, and practice ballet technique. The class then moves onto center work and traveling steps, focusing on technique and vocabulary presented at the barre.
Pre-Ballet (Ages 3-5)
SUMMER 2025
Mondays, 5:00-6:00pm
A creative and imaginative hour exploring movement, musicality, and storytelling. Students are introduced to classical ballet vocabulary and steps sprinkled between inventive games and memory-focused exercises.

Contemporary Ballet (Ages 9+)
A fusion of ballet technique and modern dance elements. This style allows the dancer to let loose and perform with emotion, often with lyrical-like fluidity. Students will learn how to incorporate ballet technique with a wide array of bodily movements and styles.
Ballet II (Ages 10-17)
A traditional classical ballet technique class consisting of barre work, center work, and traveling steps. Students are encouraged to move beyond technique structures and practice the art of performing.

Adult Ballet (Ages 18+)
A relaxed environment for adults in search of exercise, flexibility, strength, and memory exercises. Students will participate in a traditional ballet class practicing technique and learning new steps and combinations. This class is about trying new things and challenging ourselves while having fun, not perfection.
